Biodegradable

If something is biodegradable, then, given the right conditions and presence of microorganisms, fungi, or bacteria, it will eventually break down to its basic components and blend back in with the earth.

Biodegradable plastics are plastics that can be decomposed by the action of living organisms, usually microbes, into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass.

Global Recycle Standard

The GRS is a certification intended to meet the needs of companies looking to verify the recycled content of their products and to verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised.

Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP)

Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP) is plastic waste defined as “at risk of ending up in the ocean” and it generates 80% of plastic marine litter.

The OBP Recycling Subprogram asserts the traceability of the plastic waste recycling value chain, from collection to recovery of OBP. It supports the incorporation of ocean bound plastic materials in consumer products and enhances new opportunities for recycled plastic markets.

RRAJ work with Organisations that are certified to supplying recycled plastic granules from OBP.

Circular Economy

A circular economy entails markets that give incentives to reusing products, rather than scrapping them and then extracting new resources.

RRAJ bioplast has circular economy by finding a very good solution to present landfill  waste by making it into PPC.
